Ai assesses job candidates in the latest Recruitment Process

Artificial intelligence and technology for recognizing facial expressions are used for the first time in job interviews in the UK.  The aim is to find the best candidates. An article in the British newspaper  The Daily Telegraph  describes how AI technology is used to analyze language, tone and facial expressions when job candidates are asked a number of identical questions.  The interviews are conducted via mobile phone or computer. The algorithms then select the best candidates by assessing their video efforts against face and language information compiled from previous interviews with people who have proven to be good at work. 350 built-in functions assess how the language is used, for example whether passive or active words are used.  The technique can also assess the candidates' choice of words and sentence length, and whether they speak quickly or slowly.
